Welcome

COVID-19 update September 2020:  Online sessions will be continuing as an option and many people have been surprised at how well this can work. I am now also able to hold a limited number of sessions in person if working online is not suitable.  These take place in my office in Clifton Village with social distancing and hygiene measures in place. Please contact me to discuss what would work for you. My current waiting list is around 8  weeks for therapy and assessments. Best wishes, Stella

Services offered

My practice covers adults and children and includes therapy, assessments and consultation to professionals.

I use a range of specialist therapies that have a strong evidence base for effectiveness. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for post-traumatic stress. Often we will also use ideas from Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to help manage self criticism and worry.

My clients may be navigating life’s ups and downs or may have experienced longstanding difficulties. I have experience in working with people who have been fostered and adopted.

I carry out assessments and support regarding Autism Spectrum Conditions  and Dyslexia in children and adults. These include assessments for people at university.

My practice also offers Clinical Supervision and consultation to professionals. I have been supervising for over 10 years and have BPS approved SDS Accreditation in Clinical Supervision (Advanced).
